About UpDating
Created by Brandon Berman and Harrison Forman, UpDating is a live, high-stakes dating show that brings the unfiltered drama of modern romance to the stage. The production casts two local singles who have never met before and sends them on a blind date in front of a live audience. A charismatic host guides the pair through a series of raw conversations, icebreakers, and unexpected prompts, while onlookers watch the chemistry unfold. Anyone looking for updating tickets can expect a raw, unscripted, and highly interactive evening where the crowd often gets to voice their own opinions on the match.
The show grew out of a desire to bypass the sterile nature of dating apps, replacing digital swiping with genuine, real-world vulnerability and immediate feedback. Audience members participate by cheering, gasping, or even offering advice as the daters navigate potential red flags and awkward pauses. The stage setup is minimalist, focusing entirely on the table where the couple sits and the reactions of the crowd. Those who compare updating tickets will find an unpredictable theatrical experiment that combines stand-up comedy, reality television, and the shared vulnerability of looking for love in public.
