What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between page views — a preference, or the fact that this visit is a continuation of the last one. Similar technologies such as local storage do the same job and are covered here too.
Cookies this site sets
We set no cookies of our own. There is nothing to log in to, no basket and no saved preference, so there is nothing for us to remember about you.
The only cookies set while you are on this site come from Google Analytics, below. We run no advertising and no advertising pixels.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which parts of the catalogue are used. It sets these:
| Cookie | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes one browser from another so visits are not double-counted | 2 years |
| _ga_<property> | Keeps session state for this specific property | 2 years |
These do not carry your name or email — we do not have either. They are used in aggregate. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site at once with Google’s browser add-on, or block them as described below.
Cookies set when you leave for a marketplace
When you follow a ticket link, you pass through an affiliate network (CJ Affiliate) on the way to the marketplace. The network sets a cookie recording that the referral came from us, so a purchase can be credited.
That happens on their domain, under their cookie and privacy policies, and it is what makes this site free to use. We do not receive your identity or your order details from it — only aggregate confirmation that a referred sale occurred.
Once you are on the marketplace, their own cookies apply. We have no control over them.
How to control cookies
- Browser settings. Every major browser can block or delete cookies, for all sites or for one. Look for Privacy in settings.
- Private browsing. Cookies set in a private window are discarded when you close it.
- Google Analytics opt-out. Google publishes a browser add-on that stops its analytics on every site.
- Tracker blockers. Content blockers will stop the analytics tag loading here at all.
Blocking every cookie described on this page leaves the site fully usable. Nothing here depends on one.
