About The Format
The indie pop band formed in Arizona, building a dedicated following through melodic, horn-infused rock and earnest songwriting. Founded by Nate Ruess and Sam Means, the duo established a signature sound defined by soaring vocal hooks and intricate, theatrical instrumentation. Their debut album and subsequent releases helped define the mid-2000s indie scene before the members paused to pursue other projects, including the chart-topping band Fun. Fans looking to experience these nostalgic anthems live can compare the format tickets across different marketplaces to find the right fit.
A live performance brings their studio recordings to life with a full backing band, recreating the lush arrangements, brass sections, and energetic tempos that characterised their original run. The atmosphere at these rare reunion shows is celebratory, driven by crowd singalongs to fan favourites like Sore Throat and The Compromise. Anyone searching for the format tickets can find comprehensive listings from various secondary marketplaces, allowing music lovers to easily view available options for their chosen tour date.
