Black Violin tickets

The classical-meets-hip-hop duo Black Violin features violist Wilner Baptiste and violinist Kevin Sylvester, who perform under the stage names Wil B and Kev Marcus. The project began after the pair met in a high school orchestra class in Florida, later developing a sound that merges classical training with hip-hop beats, R&B, and bluegrass. Live performances feature the duo backed by a DJ and a drummer, creating a high-energy concert experience that dismantles genre barriers. Fans looking to attend a show can compare black violin tickets from different sellers to find the most suitable entry.

The duo has collaborated with major artists across multiple genres, including Alicia Keys and Wu-Tang Clan, and they received a Grammy nomination for their work. Their live sets transition smoothly from classical compositions by Bach and Brandenburg to modern hip-hop covers and original instrumental tracks. The performance emphasizes music education and overcoming social stereotypes through artistic expression.
