Peter And The Wolf tickets

Sergei Prokofiev created this symphonic fairy tale for children to introduce young audiences to the instruments of the orchestra. The story follows a spirited boy who disobeys his grandfather and climbs over the garden wall, eventually capturing a menacing wolf with the help of a clever bird and a duck. Each character in the narrative is represented by a distinct instrument and musical theme, such as the bright flute for the bird and the deep French horns for the wolf. Finding peter and the wolf tickets allows families to experience this classic introduction to classical music live.

On stage, a narrator guides the audience through the story, speaking over the live orchestral performance to coordinate the action with the music. The staging often incorporates physical theatre, puppetry, or animated projections to bring the forest and its animal characters to life. This combination of spoken word and vivid orchestration makes the performance highly accessible for children while offering adults a chance to appreciate Prokofiev’s brilliant orchestration and enduring melodies in an intimate concert setting.
