L.A. Witch tickets

The Lion is an intimate, one-man folk musical written and performed by Benjamin Scheuer. The autobiographical piece follows a young musician as he navigates family grief, personal illness, and the healing power of songwriting. On stage, a single performer uses six different acoustic and electric guitars to tell a deeply personal story of survival and reconciliation. Theatergoers searching for the lion tickets will experience a raw, narrative-driven concert that blends storytelling with original acoustic music.

The production grew out of Scheuer's own life experiences and his career as a singer-songwriter. It won a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Solo Performance during its early runs, earning praise for its emotional honesty and virtuosic guitar playing. The staging is deliberately minimalist, focusing entirely on the performer, the instruments, and the lyrics. Audiences who compare the lion tickets can expect a quiet, moving theatrical experience that feels like an evening in a private living room.
