GWAR tickets

Formed by a collective of artists and musicians at a university in Virginia, GWAR became one of the most distinctive heavy metal bands in the world. The group performs as a horde of interplanetary warriors, wearing elaborate, grotesque sci-fi armor made of foam latex and plastic. Their live shows are notorious for satirical, hyper-violent theatrical sketches where monstrous characters battle on stage. Fans in the front rows actively seek out the experience of being sprayed with massive amounts of fake blood and bodily fluids. Those looking to join the chaos can use this site to compare gwar tickets from different outlets.

Musically, the band delivers a relentless blend of thrash metal, punk rock, and comedy rock. Despite the rotating lineup and the passing of key founding members, the group maintains its strict narrative mythology and elaborate stage production. The concerts function as a mix of a heavy metal gig and a dark comedy horror show, where political figures and pop culture celebrities are routinely parodied and decapitated.
