The Rocky Horror Picture Show - Film tickets

Richard O'Brien wrote the original stage musical as a tribute to classic science fiction and B-horror movies. The story follows a newly engaged couple, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, whose car breaks down near a strange castle. Inside, they encounter Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a mad scientist and transvestite from outer space, who is about to unveil his latest creation, a muscular man named Rocky. This cinematic adaptation has become the ultimate midnight movie experience, famous for its passionate and participatory audience culture.

Attending a screening of this cult classic involves much more than just watching a screen. Audiences regularly dress up as their favourite characters, shout callback lines at the dialogue, and throw props like rice, toast, and toilet paper at key moments in the story. Many screenings feature a live shadow cast performing the scenes in front of the screen.
