About Death Note
This dark fantasy musical brings the massive Japanese manga phenomenon to the stage. The story follows Light Yagami, a brilliant high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook dropped by a Shinigami, or god of death. Discovering that anyone whose name is written in the book will die, Light begins a vigilante crusade to rid the world of criminals. Fans looking to compare death note tickets can expect a tense psychological cat-and-mouse game as a brilliant, reclusive detective known only as L tries to track down the elusive killer.
The production features a dramatic, rock-infused score written by Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy. The music heightens the intense battle of wits between the two central rivals, contrasting Light's escalating megalomania with L's eccentric, razor-sharp intellect. Giant projections and atmospheric lighting help recreate the gritty, suspenseful aesthetic of the original comic books. Those searching for death note tickets will experience a theatrical adaptation that honors the moral complexity and dark atmosphere of the source material.
