About The Addams Family
This musical comedy brings the famously macabre cartoon characters created by Charles Addams to the stage. The story centres on a grown-up Wednesday Addams, who has fallen in love with a sweet young man from a respectable family, forcing her parents to host a dinner party for the normal outsiders. Audiences looking for the addams family tickets will experience a gothic mansion setting filled with theatrical magic, puppetry, and a lively chorus of dead ancestors who are summoned from the family crypt to help resolve the romantic chaos.
The show features an original score by Andrew Lippa that blends Broadway showtunes with lively Latin rhythms, matching the passionate nature of Gomez and Morticia. While the Broadway run did not take home the major trophies, the production won a Drama Desk Award for its set design and has since become a staple of regional and international theatre. Those who compare the addams family tickets can expect a humorous, family-friendly celebration of eccentricity that explores what it truly means to be normal.
