CIBC Theatre

This historic Chicago playhouse brings grand Italian Renaissance style to the Loop district. Originally built as a vaudeville house, the theatre features a towering proscenium arch, ornate gold leaf plasterwork, and deep velvet drapes that create an intimate atmosphere despite its multi-tiered layout. The steep rake of the balconies brings audiences close to the stage, making the space ideal for major touring Broadway musicals and dramatic plays. Visitors checking prices for upcoming dramas or musical productions can compare cibc theatre tickets across different marketplaces to find their preferred view of the stage.

The majestic marble lobby and grand staircases prepare theatregoers for an evening of classic showmanship. Inside the auditorium, the acoustics are remarkably sharp, carrying spoken dialogue and orchestral scores clearly to the very back of the gallery. Navigating the busy downtown streets leads directly into this opulent escape, where the historic architecture enhances the drama on stage. Those planning a visit to this landmark venue can find available cibc theatre tickets for a variety of touring theatrical runs, securing a place in one of the city's most storied performing arts spaces.
