About Fine Line Music Cafe

Housed in the historic Consortium building in downtown Minneapolis, this bi-level venue offers an intimate setting designed specifically for live music. The main floor features a prominent wooden stage with a standing room area directly in front of the performance space, while a wrap-around balcony overhead provides elevated sightlines. Solid brick walls and exposed timber beams contribute to the warm, natural acoustics of the room, making it a favourite space for both touring indie bands and local singer-songwriters.

Those holding fine line music cafe tickets can expect a close-up view of the stage from almost any spot in the room. A full-service bar runs along the side of the main floor, and the upstairs balcony area offers a slightly more relaxed vantage point away from the main crowd. The modest scale of the room ensures that the connection between the performers and the audience remains highly personal, preserving the classic club atmosphere that has defined the city's music scene for decades.
