First Avenue

The distinctive black building with its exterior walls covered in silver stars stands as a cornerstone of the Minneapolis music scene. Originally constructed as a Greyhound bus depot, the curved Art Deco structure was converted into a live music venue that retains its gritty, industrial character. Inside, the main room features a polished wood dance floor surrounded by a tiered viewing area, offering excellent sightlines from almost any vantage point. The acoustics are famously sharp, designed to handle loud, bass-heavy live performances.

Attending a show here feels intimate despite the room's generous scale. A legendary history clings to the walls, yet the space remains dedicated to showcasing emerging talent alongside established touring acts. Music fans looking to experience this historic room can use this site to compare first avenue tickets across different marketplaces. Finding the right entry option is straightforward, allowing visitors to focus on the performance. Anyone searching for first avenue tickets will find clear listings from various outlets to help them plan their visit.
