South Side Ballroom at Gilley's

The South Side Ballroom at Gilley's stands in the vibrant Cedars district of Dallas, offering an expansive, industrial-style space for live music. Originally a warehouse, the venue has been transformed into a versatile, open-floor hall known for its gritty, high-energy atmosphere. The lack of fixed seating creates a dynamic general admission floor where concertgoers can get close to the stage. Massive steel pillars and exposed brickwork preserve the building's rugged heritage, while the professional sound and lighting rigs deliver powerful acoustics that suit rock, electronic, and hip-hop performances.

Attending a show here feels intimate despite the cavernous scale of the room. Multiple bars are positioned around the perimeter to keep crowds moving, and the outdoor patio provides a welcome space to step away from the volume of the main hall.
