The Orange Peel

This legendary Asheville venue stands as a celebrated fixture of the North Carolina music scene, occupying a building that originally served as a mid-century roller rink before its transformation into a vibrant social club. Inside, the space is designed entirely around the live music experience, featuring a sprung bamboo dance floor that reduces fatigue for standing crowds. The room is known for its warm acoustics and an intimate layout that brings those holding the orange peel tickets remarkably close to the stage, regardless of where they stand in the hall.

The facility includes a lower-level basement lounge, providing a quieter retreat with its own distinct character beneath the main concert floor. State-of-the-art sound and lighting systems ensure that performances carry exceptional clarity throughout the open-plan room. Music fans can compare the orange peel tickets from various marketplaces to find entry to this historic space, which consistently hosts a diverse range of touring bands, legendary singer-songwriters, and emerging independent artists in the heart of downtown.
